Born in 1997 in Vladivostok, Russia, Maresiy Ivashchenko is a multimedia artist. He first studied communication at the Moscow School of Economics before graduating from the Rodchenko Art School in Moscow in 2022. His photographic, video and installation practice involves the production of speculative, uncertain and ambiguous narratives, with a particular interest in Western capitalism. His work presents endless possibilities for interpretation. In 2020, he exhibited at the Museum of Multimedia Art in Moscow. He has been a member of the agency of artists in exile since 2024.
