biography
Born in 1995 in Firoz Koh, Afghanistan, Roya Heydari is a photographer and filmmaker. She collaborated with international publication (Buisness Insider, Al Jazeera, The Middle East Eye, TRT World), worked with international NGOs (UNHCR, GIZ, WHO, MSI, Save The Children) and appeared in various documentary and feature films. By her will to give a voice to Afghan women who live in rural areas, she traveled all over Afghanistan to film them, photograph them and tell their stories at her own risk. She arrived in France in 2021 and has become a member of the agency of artists in exile.
