biography
Born in 1983 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Divin Matameso, known as Papa Divin, is a comic strip artist, colorist, painter and draftsman. Graduated from the Kinshasa Fine Arts School, he teaches drawing, aesthetics and philosophy. He is a member of the Bulles Africaines collective, exhibits at the French Institute of Kinshasa and is awarded several prizes. He published a poetry collection (Rose ou Morose, 2012) and two comics (Les Larmes rouges and La vie n’est pas toujours ailleurs, 2018). He is a member of the agency of artists in exile since August 2018.
