biography
Born in 1970 in Isfahan in Iran, Behrad Houshyari started learning traditional Iranian art at a very young age (painting and tapestry). He studied art conservation at the Art University in Isfahan, and worked on several national monument restaurations such as the Ali Qapu Palace in Tehran and the Hasht Behesht in Isfahan. He did some exhibitions in Iran, Turkey and Syria. He had to leave his country and seek asylum in France.
